Paul Duncan Dead

One of the people in the football world has died.

Paul Duncan died on July 16 at the age of 35. He was a free agent who played for the Denver Broncos for a short time. Later that day, his wife Ellen Duncan wrote on Instagram that he had died.

“Paul had a heart attack while running in our neighbourhood yesterday, Friday, July 15,” she wrote. “He was said to be brain dead today.”

Ellen continued, “We will have a medical exam to find out what happened. His body will be given to people who need organs and to research in medicine.” She ended her message by saying that she was grateful for everyone’s “prayers and support.”

Paul’s two daughters, Dillon, 6, and Sloane, 4, are left behind. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said in his death notice that he was a proud girl dad.

The obituary said, “He loved being a “girl dad,” doing everything from building playgrounds in the backyard to doing their hair before school.” “Dillon and Sloane loved Paul’s spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen and his adventures with them in the water, whether at the lake with family or at the pool with friends.”

From 2005 to 2009, Paul played on the offensive line for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.

In a tweet, the Notre Dame football team expressed sadness over his death: “We are praying for Paul Duncan’s family and friends. A great teammate, but what matters most is that he is a loving husband and father.”
