From 7 a.m. on June 1st through 15 a.m. on June 15th, the Maharashtra government published a multi-tiered set of rules to ease restrictions imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Maharashtra government has imposed a host of limitations, ranging from vehicular traffic to shop and public space opening hours.

- All essential shops that are now permitted to open between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. may be permitted to open between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- E-Commerce delivery of non-essential commodities alongside necessary products may be permitted in such a district.
- Except for individuals directly involved in corona work, all government offices in the stated district can operate with a 25% attendance rate.
- On weekdays, shops in the agriculture sector may stay open until 2 p.m.
- Malls, theaters, and other such venues will operate at half-capacity in Level 2 locations and will be closed at higher levels.
With the exception of locations under Level 1, local railway services will be limited to essential services for all levels. As the levels rise, though, the restrictions become more severe.
