1.From where do the people in Madho’s village fetch water for drinking?
Ans. People in Madho’s village fetch drinking water from pond. The pond is very far from the village. Sometimes, they get water from a train which carries water. Sometimes, they are also allowed to take water from tanka.
2.Who fetches water in Madho’s house?
Ans. Madho’s sister and mother go to the pond to fetch water. Madho’s father goes to fetch water in his camel-cart. Madho goes to fetch water from the tanka.
3.Water collected in the tanka is mostly used for drinking. Why?
Ans. The water in tanka is filtered and covered. So, the water collected in tanka is mostly used for drinking.
