Anytime Dave Chappelle puts out a special, it becomes a cultural moment, good or bad. Famous comic Dave Chappelle is back on Netflix with his first full-length stand-up special since 2021’s The Closer. There was a lot of debate over Chappelle’s jokes about trans people and disabled people in The Dreamer, which was filmed at the Lincoln Theatre in his hometown of Washington, D.C.

While Charles’s father is not involved, criminals in Taiwan are now after him. Although Bruce doesn’t want to, Charles, Mama Sun, and Bruce must face their crime past and fight back to save the family before their enemies do it again.

Netflix’s adaptation of Trent Dalton’s well-known book Brings Boy Swallow Universe to life. Eli Bell (Felix Cameron and Zac Burgess), a teenager from Brisbane, has had a hard existence. Lyle (Travis Fimmel), Eli’s husband, sells heroin, and Frankie (Phoebe Tonkin), Eli’s mother, has serious addiction problems. One of Eli’s bigger brothers, Gus (Lee Tiger Halley), can’t talk. Babysitter Slim Halliday (Bryan Brown), who just got out of jail after 25 years, is watching over Eli.
Problems at home affect Eli at school, where he often gets in trouble. After getting a feeling that Lyle is back to selling heroin, Eli joins the local drug scene to keep his mother from returning. All of this is happening while Eli tries to figure out one thing: what does it mean to be a good man?

Detective Forst, a Polish-language crime show, is the next top-rated whodunit on Netflix. Borys Szyc plays Wiktor Forst, an unconventional detective whose methods often leave him in conflict with his bosses, in the six-episode thriller. On the other hand, Forst has a history of solving problems. These out-of-the-box ideas will be tested to find the persons responsible for a brutal murder in the Tatra Mountains.
As a result of a fight with his superiors, Forst is removed from the case. To find the serial killer who leaves gold coins in the mouths of his victims, Forst teams up with writer Olga Szrebska (Zuzanna Saporznikow) to solve the case without breaking the law.

Polish-language crime series Detective Forst will dominate your Netflix feed next. In the six-episode thriller, Borys Szyc plays Wiktor Forst, an unconventional detective who often argues with his superiors. Forst has a track record of case resolution. These unconventional methods will be used to investigate a terrible Tatra Mountain homicide.

Adaptations of Harlan Coben’s mystery and thriller books are taking over Netflix. These include the British TV shows The Stranger and Stay Close. Coinben’s newest book is called Fool Me Once, and it’s a murder story about a husband named Joe Burkett (Richard Armitage), who was shot and killed. Two weeks later, Joe’s wife, Maya Stern (Michelle Keegan), sees him on the nanny cam playing with their daughter.
Does someone want to kill Joe, or is there a big plot going on? Furthermore, Maya’s niece and nephew, Abby (Danya Griver) and Daniel (Daniel Burt), look into the murder of their mother, Clair (Natalie Anderson), which might have something to do with Joe’s shocking supposed death.
1. American Nightmare season 1 (2024)
Netflix’s newest true crime show hit is American Nightmare. Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn were woken up in the middle of the night by an intruder in 2015. They told the police they were strangled and given drugs. After holding Denise for hostage, the intruder took her and raped her. Deegan was found in her hometown a few days later. Officers first tried to charge Aaron with murder, but when Denise showed up, they said the crime was a complicated fake. According to Gillian Flynn’s book, it was called “The Gone Girl Kidnapping” by the media.
Couple never changed their story, and when a suspect is found, Denise and Aaron go after the justice they deserve. In this three-part docuseries, interviews with Denise, Aaron, and the police who worked hard to find the person guilty for the kidnapping provide shocking information.
