Beneficiary Guidelines
  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • In this, communication representatives from 21 years to 70 years of age will be eligible and pre-insured journalists up to 80 years will be eligible for this scheme.
  • Husband wife, Children (maximum three unmarried) and parents can also be included in the scheme on payment of prescribed premium.
  • The insurance policy will cover all pre-existing diseases.
  • Only children up to the age of 25 years will be covered under Journalist Insurance Scheme .
  • Journalists working in New Delhi, a native of Madhya Pradesh, will also be eligible under the scheme.
  • The government has also include non-preferential journalists in the scheme.
  • In this category, four representatives of daily newspaper, weekly, fortnightly, monthly magazine and two representatives of electronic and web media will be eligible in the scheme.

  • This policy covers the reimbursement of all types of non-medical expenses of insured persons up to the sum insured as indicated in the policy, during the policy term.
  • This policy covers medical expenses incurred on hospitalization and in-patient treatment in India.
  • A person can cover self, husband or wife, dependent children under the same policy.
  • Additional premiums paid to husband or wife or children can be included in the insurance plan.
  • If there is no break in the policy, then the policy can be renewed throughout the life.
