Arunachal Pradesh PSC has released the Assistant Professor shortlist for four more subjects: Political Science, Economics, Geography and Hindi. Interviews begin on 11 November 2026.
Please note that this APPSC is the Arunachal Pradesh commission at Itanagar, not Andhra Pradesh. The shortlist is based on Academic Performance Scores, not a written exam. More updates are on our Sarkari Results page.

How Candidates Were Shortlisted
The commission used the Academic Performance Score, as per Appendix II, Table 3B of the UGC Regulation, 2018. This table scores academic record and research. So the shortlist reflects your documents and qualifications, not an exam paper. The commission lists application numbers in the annexures.
How to Check the Shortlist
- Open the Shortlist PDF from the table below.
- Find the annexure for your subject.
- Look for your Application Number.
- Save the PDF for your records.
The file is scanned, so text search may not work. Please read your subject’s list carefully.
How to Download and Save
Use your browser’s download option, then keep a copy on your phone and in your email. You may want to print the page with your number too, along with your application form.
What to Check
- You are reading the right annexure for your subject.
- The application number matches yours in full.
- You have read the terms on the first page.
What to Do After Finding Your Number
The notice does not list the documents needed. It says the date, time, venue and reporting instructions will be in the admit card, along with other terms. So the main next step is to watch for the separate notice on admit card download.
Our general suggestion is to keep your original certificates, publications and experience documents ready, since your score came from these. Interviews start soon, so please plan your travel to Itanagar in advance, while waiting for the exact venue.
Can I Question My Score?
No. The commission says its decision on eligibility is final. It adds that no further representation or submission about the Academic Performance Score or eligibility will be entertained.
Common Problems
- Number not found: check the correct annexure again, then read slowly, since this is a scanned list.
- Admit card not available yet: its download date will be announced separately.
- Andhra Pradesh candidates: this list is not for your state’s APPSC.
