UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2026 has merit lists with 243 candidates: 155 for the Indian Military Academy, 63 for the Indian Naval Academy and 25 for the Air Force Academy. The commission dated its notice 2 November 2026.
Some candidates appear in more than one list, so 243 is not the number of different people. Selection also is not complete yet, as medical results are not included. More updates are on our Sarkari Results page.

How to Check the Result
- Open the Final Result PDF from the table below.
- Go to the list for your academy.
- Search for your roll number using the search option in your PDF reader.
- Check your name against your admit card.
The lists are in order of merit, so your position on the list is your rank in it.
What the Result Does Not Include
Two points in the notice matter here:
- Medical results: these have not been taken into account in preparing the lists.
- Date of birth and qualifications: verification is still in process at Army Headquarters, so every candidature is provisional on this score.
What Candidates Should Do Next
UPSC asks candidates to send their certificates, in original, supporting their date of birth and educational qualification. Attested photocopies must go with them. These go to Army Headquarters, Naval Headquarters or Air Headquarters, according to your first choice.
If your address has changed, tell the same headquarters directly and promptly. The notice gives no last date for sending documents, so please do this soon, and keep copies and postal receipts. Those last two points are our advice.
When Will Marks Come?
Marks are not out yet. UPSC says they will appear on its website after the final result of the Officers’ Training Academy. Please ignore any marks shared on social media before then.
Common Problems
- Roll number not found: check all three lists, as they are separate.
- PDF slow to open: download it first, then search it.
- Name differs slightly: check your admit card, and raise it with the relevant headquarters.
Understanding the Numbers
The written test stage was much larger than these final lists. UPSC says it had recommended 2,601 candidates as qualified for IMA and 770 for INA, before the SSB stage. Three lists follow from the April 2026 exam and SSB interviews. Because some candidates are common to the lists, please do not add the three numbers together to count people.

To Army, Naval or Air Headquarters, according to your first choice.
Can one candidate appear in two lists?
Yes. UPSC says some candidates are common to the three lists.
Are marks available now?
