Duties of the Post

The Digital Office Platform is built so that a new government office can be set up by configuration, and not new code. The Product Manager makes this possible:

  • Collect requirements from each onboarding government body, and prepare BRD and FRD documents
  • Convert each office’s case process into forms, workflows, roles, rules, timelines and dashboards
  • Set rules for moving live cases when a workflow version changes
  • Define timelines, escalation paths and notifications by email, SMS, WhatsApp and other channels
  • Define user access for platform admins, office staff, citizens and respondents
  • Own the roadmap and priorities across about 20 engines, and lead backlog and sprint planning
  • Plan user acceptance testing, and manage change requests
  • Write user manuals, configuration playbooks and release notes

A BRD is a Business Requirement Document, and an FRD is a Functional Requirement Document. Both describe what the system must do.

Salary and Pay Scale

The pay is not printed. DIC says consolidated remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience, within project norms.

Selection Process

DIC uses an objective matrix of education, relevant experience, domain expertise, certifications, publications and other approved criteria. It can use higher thresholds to limit interview numbers. Only shortlisted candidates are called, and the decision is final.
