Selection Process
Admission follows the Ph.D. Ordinance 12 (2023) and the 2026-27 admission brochure:
- PET route: a university entrance test, followed by an interview.
- NET route: admission on the basis of NET score, as per UGC circular dated 27 March 2024.
- Exemption: those who qualify for a fellowship or scholarship in UGC-NET (JRF), CSIR-NET (JRF), GATE, CEED or similar national tests are exempted from the PET.

- Read the notice and the Ph.D. brochure.
- Find your discipline and test code.
- Fill in the form on the Samarth portal with the enclosures required.
- Submit before 5:30 PM on 25 November 2026.
- If you are applying through NET, send your documents to the given office by 5 December.
