- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equal grade), studied full-time and regular, in one of these: M.E., M.Tech., M.S., Integrated M.Tech., M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. or M.Voc. in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, Post-harvest Engineering or Food Science and Nutrition, or a Master’s in a relevant subject.
- A Ph.D. in one of these subjects, or NET in the relevant subject.
SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates get a 5% relaxation, from 55% to 50%, at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level. UGC, AICTE or NCTE rules apply for minimum qualifications.
